The location was good.
The hotel staff arranged us to the worst room at the first floor facing courtyard. There were dogs barking heavily right down. The room was dark. When we opened the door to the terrace it was terribly dirty and stiffing. We saw how some insects entered our room. We asked for another triple room. They gave us single room on the opposite site, so two of us had to sleep in that dark one.During the night something bit my daughter and we had to call the emergency from Yangshuo, because she had allergic reaction to that unknown kind of insect, definitely not mosquito! It was the worst night during our 28-day stay in southern China. Avoid this hotel! Go to the Dragon River Retreat!

Located in a peaceful spot far away from the raucous West Street area, this hotel offers great views. the reception staff warmly greets the guests with a charming little touch of a welcome sign posting their names. the rooms are generally nice and clean, offering a beautiful view of the surrounding area.
The hotel could do better with its bathroom fixtures.

The view from the hotel is excellent. We loved sitting on the rooftop terrace enjoying the scenery although drinks are significantly more expensive than in near-by restaurants. The structure of the hotel is nice and our rooms (one facing the river, other one facing the backyard) were good. The staff was really nice and helpful. We enjoyed the atmosphere of the hotel.
1) Check-out wasn't smooth since the sum of our week's stay was beyond the comprehension of the credit card machine and the receptionist kept insisting that the problem was with my credit cards. 2) There were a lot of bugs in the other room on the last day of our stay (apparently came from outside) 3) When asking the reception to book tickets to near-by sights, the price was higher than buying tickets on the spot.

A quiet place far away from the crowded Yangshuo West Street. Clean beds spacy sleeping room. Free WiFi. Nice view from the deluxe room.
We never saw such a mody shower curtain! The taxi to/from the town center costs min. 30 rmb per way. Minibus from the main road costs between 5-10 P. P. but they are just between 8:30 am and about 4:00 pm available.

Stayed here over New Year’s and the ambiance was nice. The key location was good and the breakfast and meals served in the restaurant were delicious. The staff was also warm and welcoming.
The room was damp, and there was no fan or air conditioning to help with the humidity. The bathroom was small and outdated, and some of the tiles were cracked.

lovely place. clean. Great views. Quiet.
staff overcharge for items sometimes - inconsistant pricing. You need a taxi to get to town which is provided for a price.

First of all we were welcomed by staff. Our room was on 2nd floor with great fish pond & mountain view. Room was spacious. Pretty near to outskirt tourist spot - rong river, Gui flower farm & etc. We given a Chinese wallets as souvenirduribg checked out. Free internet online service was available.
Inconvenient where no lift to access to 2nd floor guest room & 3rd restaurant. Besides, no bell baggage service as well. Bathroom shower screen was licking all over inside & outside bathroom. Food at roof top restaurant was too pricy.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location was perfect, nestled in a charming little village away from the hustle and bustle of the main road. The service provided by the staff, from the porter to the cook, was exceptional. They were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The rooms were equipped with all the amenities we needed, including ironing facilities, air conditioning, and tea and coffee making facilities. We also loved having a balcony and sitting area where we could relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. the attention to detail and the level of service provided made our stay here truly enjoyable.
Highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay.

We stayed at this small countryside villa some days ago, and got an unforgetable experience !! Large and clean room facing the beatiful scenic view, I worried about the air-conditioning before we went there since someone said it's not good. When we arrived there, the girls told us they had changed all into the news ones, and yes, the power was great. The staff ( especially the receptionists and waitresses ) were very very friendly and helpful, most of them spoke excelllent English, they would be very happy to chat with you, just like their email said "Always at your services!" . They helped us with tickets and transportation smoothly. The restaurant was great too , offering the western and chinese foods, the most wonderful things I wanna mention is the amazing view from the rooftop !! This kind of location offers the breathtaking views and peaceful countryside life, but could also be a little problem, about 6km away from the Yangshao downtown, anyway, took a taxi just 10 minutes to get there, not really a problem. Totally, it is not a fancy place like the 5 star hotel but it has full of charm, Highly recommended to everyone! We will come back!

The hotel's location was great - we had a beautiful view from our window. We also appreciated the free internet and the friendly staff who helped us organize our tours. Another advantage was the comfortable room that made us feel cozy and welcomed.
The bathroom seemed a bit neglected with some moldy spots that needed attention. the outside construction made our room quite noisy early in the morning, which disrupted our sleep.

It is a gorgeous little Inn in a beautiful location, with lovely views from the Restaurant. Book the Deluxe rooms for a little more price. Our standard room was dark, with no view.
The service at breakfast could have been more prompt and understanding of westerners eg more hot water, milk etc

The staff were very friendly even though we stayed only one night instead of three. When we went back to collected the phone charger which was left behind, they were still very nice about it.
I find the bed not comfortable and the heater was too far away from the bed so I felt very cold.
